1: Razer Kraken X Ultralight Gaming Headsets For Glasses Wearers

We’re gonna be reviewing the brand new Razer Kraken X gaming headset. This is the best gaming headset for glasses wearers. A $50 headset at that putting it in line out there with the competition with like the corsair HS 50. You got the HyperX cloud singer Astro had one. So, a very affordable headset for the price or cheaper than a video game always good.

So, we’ll run through it all type with the sound the mic test the pros and cons all that good stuff in case you want to pick up a brand new gaming headset at this price. So, first, the Kraken lineup has been expanded over the years but 50 bucks are no doubt the cheapest.

We’ve seen this is a headset for pretty much any console ps4 Xbox one your switch the PC mobile because it terminates in a 3.5-millimeter headphone jack. So, you can plug this in and use it with whatever you want and checking it out. It stills gonna follow the previous cracking design language because it looks relatively the same.

The main difference here is the fact that it is very lightweight. So, it’s nice and you know portable in that sense this weighs 250 grams which is one of the lightest gaming headsets out there in the entire market. But with that said it is primarily plastic. So, you’re gonna be sacrificing some of the build quality with a plastic build construction here but that’s the trade-off. We’ve got 40-millimeter drivers with an impedance of 32 ohms and a frequency response from 12 Hertz to 28 kilohertz.

In terms of the comfort and adjustment level, it does expand to fit a pretty large head. You can see a decent amount of flexibility in this headset although be cautious and careful with that expect we said plastic construction. The ear cups do rotate a bit around 30 degrees. It is so lightweight there are no pressure points at all very comfortable.

The clamping pressure is very nice. You have ample padding on the inside of the headband up top and the plush memory foam earpads feel great as well. After here also wear glasses happy to report that the comfort with this still very good. The pressure points are still non-existent and yeah all good stuff. Now on the back of the left ear cup is where your adjustments are gonna be you have a mic mute button that you press.

There is no LED light on the mic itself to let you know it is muted. So, just keep that in mind, and beneath the mic, the mute button is a volume dial. Very simple just those two buttons and that is it. As for the mic we can talk about that now it is a very flexible kind of gooseneck design. It’s a cardioid mic. So, it’s aimed to kind of eliminate the background noise and stuff.

2: HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming Headsets For Glasses Wearers

There is a review of the HyperX cloud stinger headset this comes in only $50. It works for ps4 Xbox one PC on your Mac your phone. It works for everything. This is the best gaming headset for glasses wearers. So, this was highly requested we’re going to take a look at it. Now I’ll tell you guys the pros the cons all the good stuff. In case you want to pick up the HyperX cloud stinger headset first off taking a look at some of the features around the headset.

There’s not a lot going on. It’s very simple. It’s lightweight overall due to its plastic construction. The only buttons on this headset are on the bottom of the right ear cup that’s where you’ll find your volume rocker. You just slide that to adjust your in-game volume and that is it for buttons overall the headset is very lightweight.

It’s only 275 grams total but again it’s through that plastic construction since it is $50 only you can kind of expect that so it wouldn’t be too rough with this. You know stretching it and throwing it around if you’re raging out and stuff like that. But overall it feels pretty nice when I’m wearing it you there’s ample padding on top of the headset.

So, it rests nicely on your head. There is a lot of leeways here for adjusting it to make sure that it fits your head the 50-millimeter drivers do you have their very own like HyperX memory phone they call it on the inside. So, again also very soft on your ears. They do rotate 90 degrees that your cups do.

So, if you want you lay down flat on your desk or the popular thing. Now is no putting it around your neck but I think all gaming headsets should have this. So, this one does great addition. There the last main thing we’re going to talk about before we move on is the microphone.

It is very flexible it’s like a gooseneck kind of rubber mic there where you can adjust it. However, you want which is great if you want to mute them since that’s that the only inline buttons where the volume there all you have to do are tilt it up fully 90 degrees. The microwave muted you put it down you hear a little click and the mic will be unmuted.

Now in terms of sound which is the most important thing about a gaming headset HyperX always comes through. I really can’t distinguish a huge sound difference here between cloud 2 and the cheaper $50.00 cloud stinger. As you plug it in you won’t be met with any shoddy software anything like that to emulate certain sounds which is great because that way you won’t have some unused software on your PC 24/7 slowing it down.

But it’s also doing part that it plugs into your computer’s 3.5-millimeter headphone jack and also if you want to use it with the mic they give you a very long extension cord which has your stereo and your microphone input there. So, this is not a USB headset which is another reason why you can use it with all the things like the Xbox one ps4 PC your phone the Wii U even its palpable to Wii U. The list goes on due to the 3.5-millimeter headphone jack connectivity but since there is no crappy software that means you are going to be getting stereo audio.

3: Razer Kraken Gaming Headset

In this article, we’re taking a look at the Kraken Tournament Edition gaming headset from Razer. There is a $99 Kraken tournament Edition is so what we’ve got here is a Kraken pro v2 headset with a USB dongle that’s touting razor’s own in-house surround solution THX facial. This is the best gaming headset for glasses wearers.

So, in real-world terms, it’s safe to consider. This is the next evolution of the Kraken 7.1 v2 but going over design real quick. The first thing I noticed was the sheer amount of aluminum that’s present in the frame. The first thing was the generous amount of Razer green on offer here but these are also available in black. If you like a more subdued look the design appears to be stout. The aluminum comes through the headband down past the slides and finally terminates in the ear cup surrounds.

It goes all the way around the outside of the ear cups. So, these are hands front and back on each cup. This allows for just a little bit of up-and-down tilt but completely forgoes any kind of swivel at all. So, that’s the trade-off the sliders themselves do have adjustment markings in the cable that extends from the headbands into the ear cuffs is positioned behind the slider in a way that would be difficult to snag or damage.

They slide easy I wonder how long this thing will be able to hold its adjustment over time. The outside of the ear cups themselves are plastic and they should look pretty familiar by now if you’re into razors products at all. They’ve got that black mesh insert as well as the Razer logo stamped on the outside.

So, no lining and no RGB on this one. It’s also pretty Spartan in terms of controls is the volume adjustment in the mic mute or present inline on the cable itself. The cable is flexible and braided but it is permanently attached. The only other feature on the outside of the ear cuffs is the retractable mic on the left side.

Let’s talk about these ear pads because Wow first off they’re not that typical leatherette all over which has a tendency to peel and flake over time. They are wrapped in some faux leather like that but the area that makes contact with your face is like a heat transfer microfiber kind of like we’ve seen with some higher-end offerings from Sennheiser.

They also have a cooling gel layer on the top and something that they have a little hidden indentation in the cup themselves to allow a place for the stems of your glasses to sit. It’s brilliant you can tell that razors put a lot of thought into what it would take to comfortably wear.

These cans for an extended period they do have a sheer fabric liner over the top of the drivers themselves but this doesn’t have any kind of foam pad to it at all which you may need to know. Because there’s a strong possibility these drivers are going to be touching the outside of your ears. So, be aware that there’s the biggest internal dimension of any ear Cup on any headset.

4: Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Wireless Gaming Headset

In this article, we’re going to check out razer’s new wireless headset the black sharp v2 pro wireless. Now, this is a pair that comes in retailing at 179. This is the best gaming headset for glasses wearers. So it kind of has a feature that separates it from some of the others where the black shark v2 pro is relying solely on impressive audio which I think these excel at.

So, we’re gonna check out some of the features that it is you get inside the box and why I think it’s worth the 179 dollar price tag. Now to start with these are THX certified. It does have the 7.1 surround sound which just likes other headsets that have 7.1 surround sound. This is mainly a gimmick because in headsets you have two speakers that are trying to emulate.

You having seven speakers and a subwoofer. So really all it’s trying to do is imitate that sound which in most cases is just adding a little bit of reverb to kind of give you the illusion. Now they do have 50-millimeter drivers and they’re using what razer calls their triforce drivers which is a single driver that’s trying to emulate having three drivers. So, one that’s kind of handling base one that’s handling your mids, and then one that’s handling your treble.

So, it’s trying to keep these from sounding muddy or congested and trying to give you the most out of each frequency. Now, these do use razer’s synapse software which you will have to do on your pc or your mac although. This headset is compatible with every console like your ps4, your Xbox, your Nintendo Switch, and also pc gaming as well. Now with razer software what it does is it gives you some different eq settings as far as your sound goes.

It also gives you control over some different features with the mic. Now the design and the build of the headset itself in my opinion is very impressive when you first look at these. They do look like an aviation-type headset. There’s something about the hinges that are on there and then the little knob that just looks like you would find these on a pilot.

Now, as far as the weight they’re one of the lightest headsets which defeat the purpose of the thick padding that’s on the top of the headband. It just makes it that much more comfortable same thing with the ear pads because they’re using memory foam in the earpads but they also have a very breathable fabric material. So, if you’re going to wear these for long periods then you don’t have to worry so much about sweating and them getting hot.

Now as far as your controls it’s pretty simple there’s only one knob on the left-hand side and that allows for your volume control. Then behind the left ear cup, you have your power button and then you have your mic mute button. So, everything right there is on the left-hand side which makes it easy and accessible.

5: HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset

There is the Kingston HyperX cloud 2 and update the design to an already popular gaming headset the cloud the original cloud. This is the best gaming headset for glasses wearers.  Now with a $99 price tag because of an included USB dongle for virtual surround sound. There is your $20 premium price tag because it one very important aspect of the originals. It will still be for sale so those not needing the USB dongle that comes with cloud 2 can save some cash and go with the original.

So, the few physical changes between cloud 2 and the predecessor are the red coating on the aluminum support for the ear cups that on the initial headset was black. You can also get a gray version with cloud 2. The second change was the added Kingston writing on the inside. It’s a very insignificant difference and lastly, the single 3.5-millimeter jack on cloud 2 integrates both the headphone and the microphone signal while it was split on the original. Since the formula for the headset is already top-notch. Cloud 2 is very well built.

It’s flexible size adjustable. The padding on the headband is just right without any particular pressure points. The light structure is awesome for long gaming sessions. there are synchronous color accents all around especially the thread for the headband that ties things nicely with the design. I do appreciate the fairly compact nature of this headset as looks quite nice.

It’s not gigantic in any way and it feels like it can take a head being thrown in the back from mobile use. You can use it without the microphone if you want to just use it for music for example outside it doesn’t look like a typical gaming headset anyway. But this gives me time to also reflect on the original HyperX Cloud. There have been no major annoyances no breaking parts only light scuffs on the leather and the plastic on the exterior.

6: Razer Kraken Tournament Edition THX 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset

In this article we are gonna take a look at the new Kraken tournament edition hits it from a razor that now features a THX spatial audio. This is the best gaming headset for glasses wearers. So, starting with the pricing at first the Kraken Tournament Edition is retailing for around  $75 on Amazon.

Now if you are familiar with the Kraken range of headsets then the design is not going to be anything new to you you still get the same adjustable headband with the mesh padding at the top of course. The iconic razor style of plastic ear cups with the mesh style a closed-back design and the eraser logo however on a D tournament Edition. It is not backlit like the others not even green.

It’s not backlit at all which usually isn’t a problem because it’s on a headset and you hardly see the hits when it’s on your head so that that’s not a problem. The ear cups are still able to swivel a small amount to fit over your ears. And then at the aluminum frame will be able to handle any reasonable amount of tension. You apply to it comfort-wise.

You get that awesome large ear cups with soft gel-infused cushions with a cloth and leather combination that allows you to wear the headset for a longer period at a time without any issues. I also had no issues with my ears scratching against the inside of the drivers which is usually a problem that I have so if you have the same thing then you don’t have to worry about the cracking tournament edition.

It’s comfortable and as for the microphone. You still get the same retractable mic that you get on pretty much all over the eraser. You do have a few other options that you can enhance in the synapse software.

So, it will be able to reduce that with the noise reduction. You have voice clarity and then also noise sound normalization. So, you can play around with that and see what your gates. So just for an example that volume normalization voice clarity and noise reduction are set at 50% in the synapse software.

So, you can hear how it sounds, of course, some of it is going to lower the quality but from my testing, it doesn’t sound too bad and I would say that you can use this mic for all of your gaming without any issues of course. If you wanted to record anything higher quality then you would want to get an external condenser microphone just going to sound better but actually for these gaming microphones which usually is bad this is pretty good. So yeah moving on to the cable you get the same 1.3 ammeter nylon braided cable with an inline controller that allows you to adjust the volume and a mute at the microphone.

At the end of the cable, you get a 90 degree TRS combo Jack that will work on a PC console and other mobile devices allowing you to hear the audio and then also use the microphone. Now getting into the main difference between a determent Edition and the other Kraken headsets and that is the sound quality.

7: SteelSeries Arctis Pro + GameDAC Wired Gaming Headset

In this article, I’m taking a look at the brand new steel series artis Pro headset plus game DAC. This is the best gaming headset for glasses wearers. This is the world’s first certified high-res gaming audio system. You’ll be able to experience high-fidelity audio gaming on PC and ps4. You have to listen to music movies all from a single headset and DAC connection. The headset itself features high density or neodymium magnets resulting in a frequency response range of between ten to forty thousand Hertz which is nearly double that of competing headsets such as the Astro a40 s at a similar price point.

This high-frequency range helps to reproduce high res audio out to the headphones keeping audio quality as high as possible and offering clear balanced full and impactful audio playback. The game helps take this stage further with the use of the ESS saber 9 0 18 q2 C deck and amp built-in which can playback audio in formats up to 96 kilohertz 24-bit.

This ensures high fidelity playback from your audio source at full resolution. Hence the high res certification from the Japanese audio society but enough about the specs and certifications. Let’s get straight to the main point of this headset and review how does audio sounds from the arctic Pro and game DAC well without a doubt.

This is the best audio experience from a headset. Let alone a gaming headset which even SteelSeries themselves admit how for too long rarely looked good and have sounded even worse now I’m by no means an audio file or an expert with audio equipment but I’ve tried and tested many headsets over the years and hands-down the sound reproduction in the arctos pro paired with the phenomenal game.

The bass is impactful and tight powerful and smooth without any distortion or negative impact on the mids or highs. The small details in the high tones were clear and discernible and weren’t overpowered by the base or the mids resulting in a wonderfully wide-sounding audio experience. Every audio cue is distinct and clean mids and vocals, in general, were solid crisp, and full in their playback.

It’s a full wide audio experience with crystal-clear clarity capable of expertly handling high fidelity audio playback. SteelSeries believe that with the arctos Pro and game DAC they’ve challenged the traditional stereotype of gaming headsets and the argument is often put forward by audio files. It’s saying that a gaming headset could never stand up to dedicated headphones but in the case of the Arcturus Pro and the game DAC, I’m inclined to agree with SteelSeries here compared to any other headset.

It’s bi-directional and noise-canceling. It pulls out and retracts neatly away in the left earcup which is something that SteelSeries headsets have always done well in their implementation of microphone placement.

8: Razer Kraken X USB Ultralight Gaming Headset

There is Kyle from tech lingo and this time we are having a close look at the latest gaming headset from Razer. This is the kraken x USB. This is the best gaming headset for glasses wearers. Now it’s pretty attractively priced it’s 100 dollars. It is a 7.1 channel surround sound headset with a microphone to give you that immersive gaming experience.

There is a USB device that is a little bit different from your traditional pair of headphones whereby. You spot the 3.5-millimeter jack. You usually have the green and the red one or which is for audio and microphone respectively now what’s great about a USB connection is that it also supplies power to the headset.

So, from both sides you have that gorgeous LED-lit Razer logo. It’s also customizable on the Razer Synapse software that comes pre-installed whenever you plug in this device but you know it’s pretty limited. You only have the option to adjust the brightness or if not change the effect between a static one or if not a breathing effect and that’s it. The downside has to leave the Razer synapse software running in the background. If not then it wouldn’t be breathing at all. So, that’s one particular downside.

Now let’s just move on to the quality of this particular headset. You have on both sides, adjustable bands. They are clearly labeled from 1 to 9. So you can make sure that they are perfectly parallel when you put them on the microphone mount that is flexible and rigid at the same time. You know I’m able to easily adjust it to any height or position that I would like and it stays there like that’s really what I like about this.

It’s really good. It’s flexible and also the ear cups are rather comfortable. It also has pretty good isolation. I wouldn’t say like total isolation but it does cut down some of the background noise that you might hear and have a look at the two buttons or two controls that are present on the left side of the headphones. You have a physical mute switch there which is like a toggle and as well as an infinite scroll wheel and that’s actually for controlling the volume. So, it’s pretty much similar to what you have on your mouse.

You know that reel that you can screw endlessly. So, it’s kind of like a digital switch. So, only when you have it plugged into your computer whereby you’re able to adjust the volume control on this particular pair of headset Now the whole setup process is rather easy. We plugged it into our computer for the very first time within a few seconds. The drivers were installed and you know there was a prompt to install the erasers in that software.

So, you have the entire set up ready to go in just a few seconds and that is only supported for stereo. Now if you want to activate the 7.1 channel surround sound. Now that requires an additional step to install one more software which we’ll get into a bit. Now let’s move on to talk about the sound quality on this tab hit set overall. I must say they sound pretty decent with sufficient clarity.

The bass is not too overpowered which is what I like you know they’re well balanced and overall you have a really pleasant experience listening to this whether is it for music or just your casual gaming experience.

9: HyperX Cloud Flight S Wireless Gaming Headset

We have the hyper x cloud flight s wireless gaming headset. These are some of the higher-end gaming headsets that hyperx has to offer and have a unique feature. This is the best gaming headset for glasses wearers. They came out earlier this year and the price has dropped a bit since release but they still come at a premium price tag as usual.

Let’s jump into the build quality and features of this headset the cloud flight s is made of all plastic except the metal retractable band which adds to the durability of the headset even though the headset is made up of mostly plastic.

It still has a tight high-end and premium feel to it. The pads are made of a thick yet breathable memory foam leatherette that makes long gaming sessions extremely comfortable and surprisingly not very sweaty. The pads also give this headset some passive sound isolation and they help by muting up the majority of the background noise in your environment. The cups also swivel and click to lock which make for a better experience. If you like to rest them on your neck and the cups themselves are not very wide.

So, you can easily turn your head left and right while they’re sitting on your neck this was a bit of an issue with my Logitech g933s. The total weight of the headset is 320 grams which are slightly lighter than the 370-gram Logitech g pro x wireless headset. I mainly use these on my pc but connecting them to your ps4 or ps5 is super simple.

You’ll just need to plug the included USB receiver into your device. You’re all set at the bottom right side of the headset. We have a continuous smooth-scrolling volume wheel that doesn’t have a hard start or endpoint. You’ll hear a high-pitched tone when the volume has hit its highest level and low-pitched tone. When the volume is at its lowest on the bottom left side.

We have a detachable mic that lights up red. When muted micro USB port for charging a raised button for a 7.1 surround sound and the power button moving up on the left cup. We have four customizable buttons. These buttons are slightly recessed feel a bit mushy and are potentially the one part of the headset that I could see wearing down over time.

By default the top and bottom buttons are mapped to volume up and down while the left and right buttons control the balance between in-game and chat volume Now I do find this feature useful when listening to comms from my teammates while ga this headset is qi certified for wireless charging. this is hands down my favorite feature on this headset and it’s what sets it apart from others.

One thing to note is the slight sort of water-dripping sound when these are wirelessly charging. It can be slightly annoying if you game and sleep in the same room because you might hear this when it’s super quiet. Now there is no wireless charger included with the headset and hyperx does sell their own charge plate qi wireless charger for a pretty penny but any qi certified wireless charge will work. Hyperx has the battery life rated for 30 hours and in my experience seems to be true.

10: Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless Premium Gaming Headset

The Corsair void RGB elite gaming headset comes to the table price closely to the HS 60 pros. While this may be far from the best gaming headset out there. It has a unique design reliable build quality and decent performance for an affordable price. This is the best gaming headset for glasses wearers.

So, let’s take a look now course there are no strangers to audio products but with the HS 60 and 70 s being just generally better. what can the void elite spring that is different? They appear to be competing with themselves which we have seen many manufacturers do but why would you buy this headset.

Well, let’s take a closer look at this headset and see where it sounds in the market. Firstly we’ll take a look at the design. The Corsair void RGB elite screams gamer with its design the sharp angles, the D shaped ear cups, and even the position of the microphone all make this headset look like it’s ready for the eSport stage. The void comes in two colors the one we have which is all carbon and black and the black and white version on the surface.

These feel a little vulnerable to time and where the headset is mostly comprised of strong plastic built-in no give. There also seems to be less flexion of this headset vamp other which could be a problem for any potential weak points like the hinges. There is aluminum inside the plastic to reinforce the headband and with the proper curve.

There is no reason that these can’t last a while the ear cups are pretty tough and feel as though they could withstand some rough handling the ear cups have been half torn with a glossy plastic which looks excellent out of the box. Lets the coarser RGB logo shine bright however it is a fingerprint trap. The microphone has seen an update on the previous version.

Now seeing one long rubber stem with more robust plastic and separated by the LED. The mic is now more malleable than ever and is much easier to get in the desired position than the older pair hardware controls were better than with some clever design added into the volume scroll wheel. The volume wheel is situated on the left ear cup and is a rocker-style wheel. This volume wheel doesn’t just take care of volume.

It is also a programmable button for EQ presets. When you press it in your EQ will switch. When you hold the port in for two seconds you can switch between and Dolby 7.1 surround sound. We see the mute microphone button on the earcup itself hitting the mute button will bring a red LED off on the microphone to give you a visual indication.

Conclusion:

In this article, there are those headsets that you can use with your glasses. These are the best gaming headsets for glasses wearers. You can see reviews from this article and can buy thee gaming headsets for glasses wares.
